A Prospector’s Passion

Hi my name is Larry. As the founder and lead designer at GoldiBox, I’ve spent the last 10 years designing some of the lightest, most innovative gold prospecting gear available. I’m a career engineer but I’m a prospector at heart – I live for the thrill of the hunt, the rush of discovering that gleaming nugget stuck in a crevice and a cleanout that yields a pan full of fines & chunkies. And I know that having the right equipment can make all the difference between a successful day or a frustrating one. Simply put, I LOVE PROSPECTING.

That’s why my design philosophy at GoldiBox is laser-focused on delivering unparalleled performance, innovation, and a great user experience. I am constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, never settling for good enough. Every GoldiBox product has been iterated numerous times, sometimes dozens before it is released. I’m always thinking of better ways to improve the tools and gear that we prospectors rely on. I sweat the small stuff. Every curve, every screw, every grizzly screen down to the ergonomics of our nozzles – it all gets scrutinized with meticulous attention to detail. Because I know that when you’re out there, miles from civilization, the last thing you want is for your gear to let you down. I am a lifelong adventurer, prospector and backcountry enthusiast so I know what it’s like when gear fails and leaves you hanging (it sucks).
